J. Bivas Hydraulic Equipment & Accessories Ltd. imports chromed rods from the leading manufacturers in Europe – Fundia in Sweden and Ovako in Italy, which has now taken over Fundia.   Our company holds stock in our warehouse in Petach Tikva which is supplied according to the requirements of our wide range of customers.

The rods are chromed, usually to a thickness of 20 μ, and all the rods are honed.  We hold in stock rods with a tolerance of  f7.   However, if required,  we can also supply rods with tolerance of h7 & h8.  The material is generally wrapped in blue plastic.

In addition we also import rods for industrial use that are induction hardened.   These are wrapped in yellow plastic.  These rods which also have a chromed thickness of 20μ, have undergone induction hardening which hardens the top 2-3mm layer to a hardness of 62-65 RC.  The core of the material is soft, allowing it to be machined.

We also import hollow chromed rods.

The above material arrives in random lengths of 5.8-6.2M.   Our company can cut the material to customer requirement here in our workshop in Petach Tikva, however there is also the option of receiving the material already cut abroad.

The available diameters range from 10mm – 150mm.   Larger diameters can be supplied by special order.
